Planting the seed.

3tree sprouted in 2010 when Ceci Churchwell realized, after 5 years in real estate, that her career really wasn’t benefitting from working within the confines of a traditional agency setting. So she went home, and she planted the seed for a new firm that has since grown and blossomed into one of the most unique, respected and successful real estate agencies in the greater Athens, Georgia area.

In those early days, Ceci recognized that what many home buyers, renters, and sellers alike crave most of all is a more human experience. Many of them are making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives, and they just want to feel at ease throughout the process. They wish to work with someone approachable, someone honest, someone real. As Ceci continued to cultivate this ideology, her favorable reputation in the market grew.

Solid core. Strong branches.

By 2013 Ceci was confident in her methods and was finding real success in her approach. But she was also feeling a bit lonely. So she brought on a second agent, then another and another, and the firm grew steadily, eventually consisting of more than ten agents.

Under Ceci’s wisdom and guidance, 3tree Realty has organically spawned a culture deeply rooted in collaboration. That collaboration filters to Deep Roots Property Management and The Branch on Milledge AirBnb. The results are a strong and well-rounded team that assists and supports one another, and has a whole lot of fun together in the process. We just know that our client-centered collaborative approach ultimately yields a team that is trusted and effective.

Adaptable and resilient.

We don’t shy away from our reputation of being a little bit quirky and a lot of fun. But despite our more comfortable and casual image and approach, we take our work very seriously. We pride ourselves on being fully engaged and prepared when it matters most. We adapt to the changes that come our way. We fight to get the very best deal for our clients, and we do not sacrifice our integrity in the process. That applies to every facet of our business: whether it’s helping you find a good deal on an investment property or helping you get the highest rents on all your rentals.

Our staff is all goal-driven, in their own unique ways. But we aren’t focused on touting or attaining awards and recognition. Instead, we just focus on our work, and tenants and owners keep coming back and keep sending their friends and family our way. For us, those are the best kinds of rewards.

Deeply rooted.

Our city. The surrounding area. This region. It’s our world. Some of us were born and raised here in the Athens area, while others found our way here and made it our home. But we all agree that this community is unique and special, and we love being a part of it. To do our share, we pledge to give a portion of our profits in support of several area nonprofit organizations. That’s just a small way that we can give back to this community that’s given us so much in return.

Branching out.

We’ve established a network of honest, hardworking craftsmen and service providers in the area who cover a range of property maintenance needs. And we’re in tune with the best area resources whenever our owners ask for suggestions. Our hope is that when one of our rental properties needs a repair, we will have the best, most affordable, polite and responsive vendors around.
